At SF Duka, we strive to create a safe, enjoyable, and productive environment for all our attendees. Please read our booking policies carefully to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience.
All bookings are non-refundable. Once reservations are confirmed, we immediately prepare and set aside materials for your build. With limited spaces in our workshops, a paid spot means another person cannot attend. Therefore, cancellations would significantly impact our business and the experience of other attendees.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled workshop, you may reschedule for a future date. When you attend the rescheduled workshop, you can choose to either build the item you originally paid for or the item being built on the new workshop date. If the new build is more expensive, you will need to pay the difference.
All attendees must sign a liability waiver before commencing the workshop. This waiver indicates that attendees are responsible for their own safety, and SF Duka cannot be held legally or otherwise responsible for any injuries. We provide comprehensive safety guidelines at the beginning of each workshop and before using any tools. Adhering to these guidelines is mandatory and has enabled us to operate accident-free since 2020.
We provide all necessary safety gear, including safety glasses, aprons, bandanas, and masks. Attendees are required to wear this gear at all times during the workshop.
A booking is only confirmed once we have received and verified payment from the attendee.
We require the names and phone numbers of all attendees. If multiple attendees are booked together, one phone number can be provided for the group.
Attendees should arrive on time to maximize the workshop experience. If an attendee is unable to complete their project during the workshop, they may leave it with us to complete the following week. The completed project can be collected from our workshop or delivered for an additional fee.
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes, as you will be on your feet for most of the workshop.
We provide snacks, soft drinks, and lunch. If you have specific dietary requirements, please inform us in advance so we can accommodate your needs.
In the event of severe weather or heavy rain on the day of the workshop, please prioritize your safety and stay home. We will reschedule your workshop for a later date.
