Description

Wood Frame. Patterned Glass. Built by Hand.

A serving tray with a bit more character than most. Four solid wood sides slotted together at the corners, with a clear patterned glass base that sits raised inside the frame, held securely in place by the wood on all four sides. The glass has an intricate retro pattern that shows through from above and catches the light. It works as a serving tray, a display surface, or just something worth having on a coffee table.

The Design

• Four Piece Wooden Frame – Four solid wood sides slotted together at the corners. Clean joins, no visible hardware.
• Slotted Glass Base – The glass pane slots into grooves cut into each of the four sides, sitting raised inside the frame and held securely in place without adhesive or fixings.
• Intricate Retro Patterned Glass – Clear glass with a detailed retro pattern. Visible from above and from the sides when the light catches it.
• Your Finish Choice – The wooden frame is sealed with a clear varnish. Stained or natural, your call.

Choose Your Experience

• Option 1: The Finished Piece (We’ll Build It For You) – Built and finished in our Nairobi workshop. Choose your finish and we’ll deliver it to your door.
• Option 2: The Workshop Experience – A full-day Saturday session from 10am to 4pm at SF Duka. You’ll cut, shape, join, sand, and finish your stool from scratch. Lunch and Snack are provided
