Description

Built From Scratch. Lights Up Your Space.

A solid wood table lamp built log cabin style, from the ground up. Five slats form the base, then the walls go up layer by layer, each level rotating 90 degrees and nailed in place until the lamp reaches the right height. The top slots on using dowels so it sits flush and secure. A bare bulb goes inside, and the electricals including a cable plug and a mounted switch are installed for you before you take it home. Warm light through the gaps between the slats, and a piece that looks like nothing you would find in a shop.

The Design

• Log Cabin Stacked Construction – Wooden slats stacked layer by layer, rotating 90 degrees at each level and nailed in place. Solid, tactile, and satisfying to build.
• Five Slat Base – The foundation of the lamp, laid flat and solid before the walls go up.
• Slotted Removable Top – The top is built like the base and sits on tiny dowels mounted to the upper edge of the lamp body. Slots on and off cleanly for bulb access.
• Bare Bulb Interior – The light sits inside the wooden body and glows through the natural gaps between the slats.
• Electricals Installed For You – A cable plug and a switch mounted on the lamp body are installed by our team before you leave. You just plug it in.
• Your Finish Choice – Sealed with a clear varnish. Stained or natural, your call.

Choose Your Experience

• Option 1: The Finished Piece (We’ll Build It For You) – Built and finished in our Nairobi workshop. Electricals installed and ready to plug in. Delivered to your door.
• Option 2: The Workshop Experience -A full day Saturday session at SF Duka from 10am to 4pm. You’ll shape, cut, assemble, sand, and finish your coffee table from scratch. Lunch, snacks, and soft drinks included. Electricals are installed by our team before you leave.
