SF Duka High Riser – A Small Shelf That Does a Lot.
A high riser is one of those pieces that sounds simple until you actually need one. It sits on top of a table, a bigger shelf, or a window sill and gives you a raised surface for the small things worth displaying – a plant, a candle, a few books, whatever you’re working with. It’s not the centerpiece of the room but it’s always the thing people notice.
The SF Duka High Riser is a half-day woodworking build. Clean lines, solid wood construction, and a finish you choose yourself.
The Design
- Freestanding Build – No wall mounting, no hardware. It stands on its own and sits wherever you need it.
- Built for Display – Designed to sit on top of a table, shelf, or window sill and elevate the small things worth showing off.
- Clean and Minimal – Simple joinery, smooth finish, no unnecessary detail. It works in any space.
Choose Your Experience
- Option 1: The Finished Piece (We’ll Build It For You) – Built and finished in our Nairobi workshop. Choose your finish and we’ll deliver it to your door.
- Option 2: The Workshop Experience – A half-day Saturday session at SF Duka. You’ll cut, join, sand, and finish your high riser from scratch. Pick your preferred session – morning (10am – 1pm) or afternoon (2pm – 5pm) – right here on this page.
