One Day. One Table. All Yours.
Most coffee tables are rectangles. This one is not. The SF Duka Blob Coffee Table is a full day build – a free-form blob shaped tabletop in solid wood, 1.5 inches thick, sitting on three chunky cylindrical legs. It is the kind of piece that anchors a living room and starts conversations. You shape it, you sand it, you finish it, and you take it home.
One session. 10am to 4pm. Lunch, snacks, and soft drinks included.
The Design
- Blob Shaped Tabletop – Free-form organic shape cut from solid wood. Each one comes out slightly different because that is the point.
- 1.5 Inch Solid Wood Top – Thick enough to feel substantial. Sanded smooth and finished by hand.
- Three Chunky Cylindrical Legs – Solid and proportional to the tabletop. Sturdy without being heavy looking.
- Your Finish Choice – Sealed with a clear varnish. Stained or natural, your call.
The Day
This is a full day session running from 10am to 4pm with a one hour lunch break. Lunch is provided. The snack bar is open all day so you can grab something whenever you need it, and soft drinks are on us throughout.
Morning – shaping and cutting the tabletop. Afternoon – legs, assembly, sanding, and finishing.
You leave with a finished coffee table.
Choose Your Experience
- Option 1: The Finished Piece (We’ll Build It For You) – Built and finished in our Nairobi workshop. Choose your finish and we’ll deliver it to your door.
- Option 2: The Workshop Experience – A full day Saturday session at SF Duka from 10am to 4pm. You’ll shape, cut, assemble, sand, and finish your coffee table from scratch. Lunch, snacks, and soft drinks included.
