Description
SF Duka Textured Art – Paper, Glue, Paint, and Whatever You’re Feeling.
This is one of those crafts where the process is half the fun. You tear up paper, mix it with water and wood glue into a paste, add your chosen colour, and use that mixture to build your design directly onto the canvas. As it dries it hardens into raised, textured 3D art that looks like it came out of a gallery.
No brushstrokes, no pencil lines. Just hands, paste, and a blank canvas.
The Craft
- Make the Paste – Torn paper mixed with water and wood glue forms the base material. Simple to make, satisfying to work with.
- Add Your Colour – Mix paint directly into the paste to get the colours you want before it goes on the canvas.
- Build Your Design – Apply the paste to the canvas in whatever way feels right. Abstract shapes, patterns, landscapes – there are no wrong answers here.
- 3D Finish – As the paste dries it hardens and holds its shape, leaving you with a textured piece with real depth and dimension.
